About our family vineyard
Since 2007, our family vineyard has been the fruit of a dream come true. But the story begins a little earlier, in 2005, when we started working the land with passion and respect for nature.
From the very beginning, our priority has always been clear: to cultivate a healthy product, as much for our family as for yours. We raised our children in this environment, and today, it is our grandchildren who run between the rows of vines – a true joy that we cherish deeply.
Lifelong lovers of vines and vineyards, life led us to this project, which we launched together in our forties, with heart and determination. Today, it is an immense privilege to share this adventure with our children… and the new generation who are already following in their footsteps.

Our History
2007
A family-run, organic vineyard founded in 2007 by Yvan and Nicole, Domaine St-Jacques is above all a story of family, passion, and respect for the land. Located a few kilometers from Montreal, our vineyard is rooted in strong values: authenticity, sustainability, and quality.
From the very beginning, we have cultivated our vines with care and produced our wines exclusively from our own grapes. No imports, no compromises—every bottle is the fruit of our terroir and our labor.
2008
In 2008, we opened our visitor center to share our passion with you. Come and enjoy breathtaking views of the vineyard, taste our wines on site, discover our facilities and learn about our production methods during enriching guided tours.
2014
Since 2014, our vineyard has been predominantly planted with Vitis vinifera grape varieties, renowned for their finesse and expression of the terroir. This choice reflects our commitment to producing high-quality, elegant wines that are representative of our climate.
2017
Our conversion to organic viticulture began in 2017, a natural commitment for us, since our family has always lived on this land.
2020
We obtained our organic certification in 2020, an important step that reflects our commitment to protecting the environment and the health of our land to ensure the sustainability and quality of the vineyard and our wines.
Today
Our wines are available at the SAQ, delicatessens, and several restaurants. Our team ensures the quality of our grapes through meticulous work in our vineyards and their expertise. We prioritize quality over quantity because, for us, good wine begins with respect for the land, guaranteeing high-quality wines that bring pleasure to your table, with family and friends.

Out of love for the land and its terroir
Protecting and showcasing the best the land has to offer is both an honor and a duty for us. Out of love for the land and its terroir, we practice organic viticulture. Ecocert Canada organic certification represents a natural, obvious, and necessary method, with adapted techniques and rigorous standards to achieve the highest quality. We began our organic conversion process in 2017 and have been certified organic by Ecocert Canada since 2020-2021.
The Obsession with the Primary Bud
When you respect the vine, it rewards you handsomely. Over the years, we have perfected our methods to maximize the opening of the primary buds, which produce the most abundant juice. We make every effort to protect the vines during cold weather, so that we can get the best from them when warmer weather returns.
